SKILLS STRIPE FOR THE WEEK
REVIEW WEEK
This week will be review week for all classes. Students who are planning on testing next week will have the opportunity to earn missing stripes in each class. Taekwondo students will also review testing procedures in each class of the week as well.
We can only work on up to two stripes per class. The stripes we work on will be determined by how many students need a particular stripe. We determine what stripes we’re covering during the class warm up.
BOARD BREAKING CLINIC FRIDAY – REGISTER TODAY
Registration for our May 31 board breaking clinic for senior orange belts and higher ranks is now open!
Our board breaking clinics will focus on testing board breaking techniques, tips, and of course, breaking boards!
We’ve scheduled TWO Clinics – Times based on belt rank!!
Friday, May 31
TKD Sr. Orange – Sr. Red Belts – 6:30 p.m.
TKD Black Belts – 7:15 p.m.
Cost: $20 per attendee
Can’t make the time scheduled for your rank? That’s okay – just know that the clinics will be geared toward the belt ranks listed. So, if you’re a black belt who needs to attend at 6:30p, we’ll be covering the very basics of board breaking and may not have time for you to practice your required testing board breaks.
To sign up, please stop by the front desk, sign up on the mobile app, or go online here: https://sparkpages.io/?i=vPc
TESTING REGISTRATION ENDS TUESDAY – REGISTRATION IS ONLY ONLINE
Registration for June testing is also now open! All students planning on testing must have 6 stripes on their belt to test. Students in our kids and teen/adult classes MUST have their rainbow stripe as one of these 6 stripes.
Students testing for black belts must test on testing day, and not either make-up testing.
All students are to wear full formal uniform: jacket, pants, & belts. White t-shirts should be worn under jacket.
All orange belts & higher must bring all gear to testing.
Students & all spectators are expected to be exhibit the tenets of TaeKwonDo during testing. Failure to do so will result in removal from the premises. Students who arrive late forfeit their right to test.
Testings are divided by your CURRENT belt rank/age group – not what you’re testing for!
You will need to complete one registration form per student. If you need to change the time of your testing, please be sure to contact us directly, and not re-do the form.
We only offer registration online. Please register here: http://bit.ly/June2019Testing
